Cassettes are the best ever medium for music. They are small and compact, and they don't take up as much room as a vinyl LP. Plus you don't have the annoying interruptions you find in an 8-track cartridge format. Not to mention, you can make your own bootlegs of other people's records! I say they'll be with us forever, or as long as the north and south pole don't shift within our lifetime, erasing all the contents on our cassette tapes. If computers could only be as fool-proof as the cassette, then a fool such as I, may decide to like the sound of mp3's. But they don't sound as good do they, sir? You cannot tell me they do. At best, they sound like poorly recorded cassettes. And that is at best. And THAT, sir, is my stance.
